Our ObjectiveWe believe that it is our job to make your concert recording sound as good as is possible. Ideally, better than live! If the choice is between an accurate recording and a great sounding recording, we try for the great sounding recording.
Recording a Live ConcertRecording a live concert can be as simple as placing two microphones and making a stereo recording, or it can require additional microphones for soloists and instruments. The microphones can be mixed "live" or the individual microphones can be recorded and mixed back at a studio. Of course the more involved the recording, the more expensive it will become. I have created a set of web pages that should help you make some decisions as to the best "level of complexity." To enter, Click here.
CostContact me for a quote on a particular job. The cost will depend on; 1) Number of microphones employed, 2) Travel, 3) Amount of Studio time required, 4) Number of CD's to be created, and 5) Any extra-ordinary requirements. The minimum cost recording would be for a local concert (to me) recorded with only two microphones of less than 70 minutes of musical material and without the need of studio time to "fix problems" and would result in the delivery of 2 CD's. Please provide me with the details and I will provide you with a competitive quote and a sample of my work. Contact InformationThe best way of getting in contact with me is through the Email address below.
