Recording a live concert is both an art-form and a highly technical activity.  However no amount of artistry will compensate for inadequate equipment. Similarly, high priced equipment will not compensate for poor recording technique.  A successful recording is a blend of artistry and technical mastery.  This is a list of the equipment that we are willing to take into the field.

Digital Recording equipment
Alesis HD 24 24 channel digital recorder.  Records 24 bits per sample and either 44,100 or 48,000 samples per second
Alesis ML-9600 2 channel digital recorder and CD burner.  Records 24 bits per sample and between 44,100 and 96,000 samples per second

Microphone Pre-Amplifiers

PreSonus MP20 (Solid State With a FET IDSS control)
